Need Help Naming A Kids Program

Posted by Anonymous on 75 Points
Our church is planning on offering a VBS / reading program this summer. Basically doing the best of VBS but also at least an hour of reading and reading type activities during the day. It's to be a month long program that meets 2 days per week. We're looking to get more involved in the community and help our local school system keep the kids reading throughout the summer. Our problem is, we need a new name. For corporate donations reasons and also to appeal more to the community we need a name other than VBS. I've been trying to come up with something catchy but just don't have anything that really strikes me as great. Any help is much appreciated!

The 800 gorilla in the room is: Aren't you potentially watering down the gospel since you probably won't be able to keep kids from reading Harry Potter et al?

Thanks so much for your input, that really gives me something to start with. Keeping it adventure themed is a great idea.
And Micheal, it is something that we've talked and prayed about and we're still deciding on how we want to deal with different book issues.
