Need advice on how to find a proper Join venture partner for our project/company .
I will go ahead & describe in as much detail as I can without giving away to much info.
I hope the community can advice me on this since it is an amazing opportunity for the right company!
About this project:
************************
An e-Commerce platform that facilitates B2B group buying
on the Web
• Virtualizes discount shopping club
– Sam’s Club
– QVC model
– Consumers collaborate to obtain lower prices
rather than bidding against each other
• Empowers consumers to make a purchase in an
individual transaction while enjoying the advantages of huge group discounts:
************************
Platform up & ready to go Live with some minor PHP coding adjustments & some Redesign .
Project went thru Public Beta surpassing our greatest expectations in just 1 month.
We exposed this platform with one single post to an industry related forum gaining
over 1000 registered users (80% buyers - 20% sellers), 122 completed group buys within 60 days in 2004.
Project was then intentionally taken off the market due to proper future forecasting of Web 2.0 technology
which will be a big factor in marketing our service.
We feel the market is more then ripe & the time has come to go live !
we are ready to offer:
30% to 49% share - partnership in this company depending on the partner.
Need advice on how to find An individual or preferably a company with ability to:
1. Provide Hosting
2. Expert in various programming skills ,PHP is a must .
3. SEO skills as well as knowledge in Web 2.0 marketing
4. Tech support , development / implementation of future apps& upgrades.
5. Company must be on the edge of current technology.
We need a company that will become our programming -web design - marketing - tech department solution.
we do not want to outsource , we need a group of computer geeks sort of speak, someone who is not a robot but a visionary.
The reason we are willing to give so much of our company away is because we had much more success in
Join Ventures then simple outsourcing especially since the appropriate company will be driven to do their best because they
will be part owners & there success will depend on our success.
Our service will have a ton of income streams starting with add revenue all the way up to commission of each successful group buy.
We are in the B2B industry , one of our successful group buys out of the 122 that we had in 2004 closed at $30,000 with an 8% commission going to us which will be split with the chosen company. This should give everyone a good idea what sort of profits we are talking about.
We understand that many more specifics are needed but we are willing to set up an interview environment situation or even a contest, please advice.
Once the company provides us with a detailed skill set we will then choose & provide all the details after a non disclosure agreement is signed for obvious reasons.
Well, I already disclosed way to much hoping that the good people of this community will point me in the right direction or who knows maybe someone reading this will be a perfect mach.
Lets give it a try ?
