Brands Strategy For Fast Fashion

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
• What do we do with a style that’s selling too fast and the one that’s not selling at all and is eating shelf space?
• Should we have a ‘special corner’ where we put all slow-movers on a discount?
• Should we redistribute amongst other stores in same area?
• What information flow should be there to trigger it to upstream?
• What about styles which remain unsold after discounts?

You can slash the price on the slow movers and focus product development in the direction of the fast moving products. Styles that remain unsold can be recycled into new products. You can offer slow moving merch to discount retailers. If you are going to expand distribution make sure you supply those stores with good unique products that will shift.

    Hi Levon,

    Thanks for your response.
Actually one thing that I forgot to mention is that for this business the same company would be the manufacturer and retailer....so they will not be able to offer merchandize to other discount retailers...
Also, I liked the idea of recycling of products...can you please elaborate a little more on this.

    Thanks & Regards

if you are looking for someone who will wholesale / liquidate your goods for you I may be able to help but I need details :
Branded or off brand? details on product.
retail & lowest price point you are willing to take on these items or lots.

contact me & if the product fits my niche , I will be able to liquidate it for you (no service charge)
as long as the price is right & I am able to place my own % commission on it which is how
I get paid out this sort of an arrangement.

All I will need is pictures & descriptions , we provide such services for many offline stores.
We become the solution & everytime you need to move dead stock we come in
to play so this may become a long term thing for you as long as your product can be liquated thru my
network of sites/mailing lists & distributors.

contact me & if I can't help personally, I will refer you to someone who can.
The goal is to find a solution that will be there for you to move such stock very fast without you having to consign , send it to them . Once you find the right liquidator with a following that has demand for your type of product , they will always be there to move your dead stock very fast.
It's all about finding a liquidator that matches your product niche so while you are moving this lower demand stock from shelf to shelf ,etc.,
you still have another solution working in the background
Anything could be liquidated & i mean anything !
    It depends,
1 .do you want to get your money out of the product by scraping it - getting your money out of material, labor cost & be happy?
    2. Maybe loose a bit on your initial investment in these goods to make up the money by clearing your prime shelf real-estate &
    move product with higher ROI.

    here to help.
