What Is Business Development Plan Entail?

I am a part time marketing student that has just started working for a mobile marketing technology company and they have asked me to draw up a business development plan for the company and also to give input on the best org structure that will suit the business. Is there anyone who might know how I can begin? Help

    Business Development is a Synonym for Marketing. I have always believed it to be more sales focused on developing short term business. I would assume what they want is a plan for lead generation.

    Hi lieca, I think it might be for both, but more internal because I'm supposed to propose a company structure for them too.

    Since its for internal use its much easier to do...

    You don't need to include nearly as many details and many parts of the typical business plan aren't even used...
