Finding B2b Sales Professionals

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
I am having some issues trying to find business to business (B2B) salespeople to join/use the website I work at. We are an online marketplace for users to buy and sell their business connections.

Any ideas on where to look? Who to contact? Ways to promote the program effectively? Thanks for your assistance in advance!

PS: here's the site if you care to check it out: www.salesconx.com

Looks cool but I would be leary of selling contacts at wholesale on such a site without some kind of way of checking out the credentials of the buyer or the seller.

Hi Frank...We make sure that the contacts are legit and that our clients are happy before any money is exchanged...We wouldn't want any of our users to be swindled!

Would you consider repositioning yourself more along the lines of affilate marketing rather than a money-for-contacts proposition?

I think the biggest hurdle for the type of sales person you most want to reach would be a fear that their highly valuable contacts would resent being sold. It's like selling your in-house client list of email addresses. A long-term client relationship is worth more than a $100 bounty for a one-time name sale.

On the other hand, if you create a forum in which members can get to know each other well enough through online networking, teleprograms and mastermind calls, they'll feel comfortable becoming affiliates of one another and recommending each other via affiliate links. Then you're preserving the anonymity of their contact list until/unless those individuals choose to click on the affiliate link and buy. It ultimately serves the same purpose but with fewer risks and less stigma.
