Good B2b Marketing Compilers For Small Businesses?

Posted by sosofresh26 on 125 Points
I have a small business development company (www.ussmallbiz.net), offering services to new and existing 1 to 10 employee operations.

I have three telemarketers, I tried Hoovers which has a large database, but businesses that have a dnb # (which u need to be listed on Hoovers), already are well established businesses that we do not want to target.

What other databases are recommended for my telemarketers to call off?

You can check the Manufacturers Directory (some states also have Services Directory) at your local library. They give sales figures and number of employees.

Also, new businesses...serious ones...register with the county. So check the newspaper for the updated list of new ones.

    Hello,

Hoovers & Zap data are all D&B companies.

For new businesses, InfoUsa bought the Lead Sheets many years ago. They specialize in New Business filings.

I worked for a compiler of this information and many of the business are just filing a business name. Make sure who ever you choose does not get their New Business list from New Yellow page ads. These types of lists are not very good.

***If you have time you can get all the New Business files at your county court house. ***

InfoUsa's other business file is the same as D&B/Hoovers.

Are you looking for any particular verticals or any business?

Chambers are a great source for finding small business owners. I would also start networking with CPA's, Bus. Attny, Ad Agencies, Printers, Office Equip, office Supplies, etc Start your own referral network.

    Good Luck
