Finding Distributors In India

My company is interested in finding a ditributor or agent in India to represent our products. The distributor or agent should have experiences in selling into local retail store such as Vishal Mega Mart, Westside, Subhiksha or Pantaloon Retail (India) Limited. Our company is a Canadian-based company and is currently producing relaxatioin CD, how do I find relevant information of how to locate such a distributor?

    You will have to contact the retailers directly to find out whether they go through a distributor or whether or not they directly deal with the manufacturer. From there I would formulate a distribution plan.
