I am going to launch a drug(antibacterial) in near future. I need a strategy to make this launch memorable.

I am looking for ideas that can be used for the launch day. i.e.

Themes and punchlines or slogans in reference to the features of antibacterial drug. the features are, an advanced formulation(4th generation of quinolones), OD dosage, cost effective i.e expensive than other mee too's but cheaper than the brand leader.

I am also looking to have a wild idea for the launch day, that clicks...................


Which type of promotional product reminder i should choose, my intension is to choose that one which remains at the desk of doctor or some sort of personalised gift which he/she would like to keep

    Target Indication: Pneumonia and Other chest iinfections
    Image of company: Good (Scientific Company)
    Price: High
    FF size: Small
    Target Audience: Pulmonologists & General practitioners
    USPs: OD dosage, Company repute for quality and cost effectiveness.
    Competition: Already 5 competitors are there, 3 of them are threatning because of there big ff size and high repute due to multiple product range.


    I am actually looking for a nice theme that can be used in doctors letters to intimate new product launch, chemist letters and later on in my promo brochures, drop cards and all other promo activities, like for atleast first 2 quarters.

    This unique idea or theme i will also be using for quality product giveaways for pulmonologists and GPs on the day of launch.


    To date i have decided the following ideas: please add up ur inputs as well:

    Launch day will be celebrated with cake cutting ceremoneis through out the country with internal and external customers both
    On launch day ff will putt on specfically designed shirts with product name embridded as per the product color combination
    A launch papper bag will be designed that would have a comprehensive product brochure, product trial samples, high quality product giveaway.

    This is all i have decided yet, but i am interested to hear all u guys to put some flowering in it...like what giveaway i can design that can be best remember by the doctor which also can be related to the product.....what slogans and punch lines i can use......................

    I think i have posted a very detailed answer........kindly help me out.....

    Wow sham u must be an expert in this industry.

    i don't know much about pharmaceutical product sales and the situation(ie whether people trust the doctor whatever they prescribe to the patients or whether the possibility of buying them off the shelves are there) but i imagine that if everyone is doing the same thing, and that your cost is not much of a big difference.

    If it is anything like in Singapore where patients still trust their doctors, then a campaign working on the doctors themselves will be much more important than an opening launch. But then again its just my opinion.

    Dear friends:

    I have already developed my all strategies to differentiate from competitor as far as the product placement is concerend, what i have just asked u guys is to suggest me the best way i can launch this product, i mean any wild idea or campaign, any eye catching slogan or theme, product give aways ( of doctors interest )that can be remained on his/her table as a consistent reminder...thats it,
    like i have 2 options in que i.e wet wipes(antibacterial) as summer season is coming and the other one is my tablet shaped paper weight with a clock dial in it........plz try to understand wat i am askin for,,,
