European Laws For Sales Promotions And Incentives

I am looking for a clear synopisis on the laws governing sales promotions and incentives within Western and Eastern Europe as we are looking at doing European campaigns.

These will take the form of rewarding distributors and resellers, with cash incentives or vouchers.

For end users we will offer compeitions or vouchers or something of that nature.

I have had a good search and looked at the EU sites, but to no avail, if anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated

    Yes, Juliet is right.
    I'm afraid that unless you go into detailed analysis of each and every country's legal regulations you will not find the answer to your question.
    There are some general rules as per one of the UE directives, but these are not obligatory for member- states.
    First off decide what countries are of greatest interest to you.Are you going to cover all of them at the same time or only a couple of them?
    I might get you some info on Poland, but is it of interest to you?
