Business Strategy For Expansion.

Hello. I am working wth a company that does personal social matchmaking and has been a succesful company for many years. Their customer is the upscale, affluent single individual. They assign the client an actual matchmaker to work work and they do conduct psychological and background checks on all cleints.

I have an opportunity to work with them in their newest expeansion area which is Las Vegas. I am trying to come up with some business strategy ideas on how I can establish/ grow the Las vegas area market. They are going into this area totally brand new.

I would like to find some fun, interesting ways to market. I had an idea of going to a happy hour at one of the upscale restuarants and having a drawing to give away two free memberships for those single menthat placed their business cards in a drawing box and pehaps offering to buy their first drink for free so that I would have time to speak with them to tell them about the company.

The company has a large budget for marketing so I am open to all suggestions.

I would like to appeal toboth men and women however I would like to concentrat on the men a bit more as the women are easier to attract.

Please keep in mind that Las Vegas is very touristy when it comes to the casinos. I can do some casino involvement buy I definately am trying to reach the locals who actually live in Vegas.

Thanks in advance for your business strategy ideas! :-)

You can model it after that group, "its only lunch", or "dinner for eight". And, as someone who was single for the past seven years (and recently engaged to someone I met on a dating site)-- 8 minute dating events are packed. Another single group I liked was by a woman who is a matchmaker, but she'd rent a country club out every month or so, and call it networking event.

I'd focus on existing business networking organizations: Chambers of commerce, B2B face-to-face clubs, Young Entrepreneurs, etc. The key is you want to be where there are lots of your target audience who are successful, don't have time to meet someone, but want to. Your matchmaking service would be a huge benefit to them.

Also: co-market with local upscale gyms and activity clubs (tennis, golf, etc.). There are additional locations for you target market.
