Bloggers For Hire/blogger Creators

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Hello,

I have just recently created blogs for friends, via word of mouth, and I am considering offering both blogging creation and blogger for hire services. Is there truly a need for this in the web marketplace? Where would you look for customers? I am interested in any and all thoughts and opinions on this subject.

Thank you so much!

Professional Bloggers are needed as most companies with a good web presence requires someone to constantly build unique content everyday and week. I think you could make a good businesses out of managing 10 blogs yourself charging $250-$1000 a week per account. I would build a really blog discussing your services with link-backs to your site and price list.

I am so appreciative of all of your comments and your positivity!!! Thank you for taking time to give me your feedback. I just love Marketing Profs.

Levon, I will take your advice and create a blog advertising my services. Then, I will ready my electronic portfolio (writing samples) and begin marketing my blog. I will send a link to each of you once it is ready.

My biggest stumbling block is perfectionism. Since I am new to this, I want the finished product (my blog and my services) to be perfect. However, I am beginning to realize that action is preferable to procrastination, even if the product is not "perfect."

I'll be checking back in and will award points tomorrow.

    Thanks again!!!

There is a business of ghost blogging:

However, ghost bloggers, like ghost writers, require a body of work to show your ability to write in different voices and industries as a knowledgeable writer.

You have nothing to lose by trying to start the business. Rather than looking randomly, I'd suggest that you get referrals from those who like what you've done for them as well as people in their community (to build word-of-mouth).

I was thinking just today this is what I need - someone to write for me. There IS a market. And I'm IN IT!

Do you have a sample blog I can have a look at?

    Thanks
