Email Raffle Tickets...suggestions!?

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
My company is giving away gifts at a convention next month. I am e-mailing the raffle tickets to about 2500 recipients. I am going to do a mail merge to pre-print all of their names on the ticket and they can simply print it out and bring it to our booth.

My questions...

1. Anyway to avoid putting this on an 81/2x11? I don't want them to print out a postcard size ticket on a large piece of paper.
2. Any ideas you have done in the past to make this process clean and professional.

Seeing as how probably 98% of people have 8-1/2 x 11 paper in their printers, I'm not sure how you plan to avoid this.

Maybe you could just buy regular raffle tickets and then issue one ticket to everyone who brings in their printed email? Is the goal not to have to sift through a bunch of sheets of paper to choose your winners?

My apologies...I should be clearer. I imagine since I probably have to do this on 81/2 x 11...does anyone have any design ideas?? Or any resources??

    Yes...that probably makes more sense.

Do you recommend I send a postcard that they just bring or actually put the ticket in the envelope with a flyer? The postcard would be cheaper, but I imagine, may not look as nice?

Thank you. My boss insists on having something sent to them in advance. We will have blank raffles at the booth.
