Graphics

Hi all

I am required to draw some graphics such as life cycle wheels, processes, etc.. like the ones used in the microsoft office (smartArt). i found few in Visio. Since i am not a graphic designer i am finding it difficult to draw them from scratch and i need several one (different number of steps, cycle, color, 3D, etc..).

Therefore i am sharing this issue with you hoping that someone will refer me to a software that draw these staff easily (something like the smartart but with many options). I tried the smart Draw software but it does not contain the life cycle wheel with arrows and all the necessary design.

awaiting your reply
thank you in advance
regards

You can buy stock vector art work and lay it out in Illustrator from most of the major stock photo sites.

Or if you want to go real pro -- hire out a graphic designer at an hourly rate.

Take at look at any of the UML tools listed here:

Out of curiosity, what exactly does SmartDraw not have that you require? You can draw a life cycle wheel in the program (although you are right that it doesn't have a ready made template).

I really like Adobe Illustrator as it creates vector graphics (this means that you can scale them, in other words expand or shrink them, and have sharp graphics. It is not for the faint of heart and does require a bit to get used to.

I have also had good luck purchasing rolyalty free graphics at istockphoto.com.

    Hope this helps,
    Mike
