Need New Campaign Ideas

my company provides mobile field data collection solutions to many different industires. right now my target is the oil & gas industry where i go to tradeshows and do co-marketing events. i need to come up with some fun yet solid themes for marketing campaigns for our software. to give an example, our current campaign is focused on our new software release and has a field technician in traditional field crew attire holding a silver platter and fine champaign along with our mobile handheld device--our tagline is serving you the finest in field data collection. At our booth we will dress it up like a fine dining experience. i need another campaign either similar or different that wont be hoaky to potential buyers.

    Have you talked to your customers to find out what they would value/what would resonate with them?

    There's a two-step approach that may help you in formulating a campaign that addresses the needs of your customers. First, you may want to start with testing your current campaign and assessing feedback about it.

    Second, what are the benefits they are looking for that are not addressed by that campaign? From that information, you can start to develop a campaign that would have the greatest relevance to your target market.
