Sales Comm. Rates In Aerospace Prod Distributor Co

Soon I will be interviewing for a full-time job as a sales representative at a company that is an authorized distributor of aerospace products. What are the standard Sales Commission Rates in this industry?

    There is no standard commission in the wholesale distribution industry. It depends on the company and their total compensation package.

    As the rule of thumb, the better companies use a plan which includes a base salary, a commission and expenses. As a rule of thumb, the commission is based on the Gross Margin generated as opposed to the top line sales figure.
