Virtual Assistant Anyone???

Posted by margo.schlossberg on 25 Points
Hi There,

I am very interested in the concept of a virtual assistant to help me with my marketing and sales support. Has anyone ever used a virtual assistant either from a domestic or overseas company?

Any feedback or pointers?

I would love to hear from the marketing community.
thanks so much!

I highly recommend PATLive (www.patlive.com). They are professional, do excellent work and I have found them to be reasonably priced. They're actually local for me (Florida), but have clients in Europe, Australia, etc. as well as around the US.

    Hi Margo,

I work as an internet marketing virtual assistant to small business clients and solo professionals.

When looking for a virtual assistant I suggest you decide whether you want to work with a company or an individual. There are pros and cons to both.

The links Danielle has provided will help you in your decision making process.

I also suggest you speak directly to the virtual assistant rather just email before you hire them. This will give you a feel for their level of professionalism and it will allow you the opportunity to ask them questions. Go to their website before you call them and google them to see what comes up. I do that with potential clients and I fully expect they do the same of me.

Good luck Margo. I'm sure you'll find just the right person. Working with the right virtual assistant will definitely give you more time to do the things you need to do.

These responses are so great! thank you all.
I am a bit clueless on how the virtual assistant actually works but having gone through 2 assistants it seems like a more efficient way to go.

I really can't thank you enough!
    All the best,
