Market Research Country Lodge And Events

I need to carry out Market research for an establishment that is a Country Lodge and an events company.
It is based in Johannesburg South Africa.
Can anyone give me guidleines how I would go about doing this research?

    Hi Dr. Michael,

    I think we need a little bit more information before giving you an answer that will provide any concrete guidance. Are you trying to guage customer satisfaction? Are you looking for direction on branding? Are you trying to segment your customer base? Once we know the objective of your research, we can give you better advice about methodologies and approaches.

    Without having that information, I can tell you that sometimes it works to have customers at organizations such as yours to fill out surveys upon leaving, but again, this is heavily dependent upon your research objective and your customer base.

    My biz plans win financing cause I do great research.

    Do your SWOT'S. Know your competition. This is so much easier with the internet! Understand your demographics. If you think you are marketing to "everyone", its the wrong answer.

    Be lazar sharp. Document every statement you make. Site industry trends. Geez, it sounds so simple-- and it is. Till the pencil meets the paper.
