First, rely on your reps to get the word out, identify who is attending and personally invite them to your booth. I cannot stress how important this premarketing is. Your reps should have bonafide appointments with docs before day 1. Make them review those with you and hold them accountable. Some procedures draw in themselves. I was at an eye conference and they were demoing a new machine/procedure-- with whosever eye they were looking at-- blown up in a large screen above the booth.

How much budget do you have to work with.

Fusion market with a few noncompeting vendors and create a "scavenger hunt". Say you work with 9 vendors. If the doc goes to all 9 booths, they are in a drawing for a prize. Since all 9 of you can pool your money, the prize can be significant.

Roulette type games seem to draw in the medical conferences I have gone to. Computer wize, I was at one that I thought was clever. There was a talking robot, with a human operator out of sight, in the hall only a few feet away. The robot would comment on the doc's tie, hair, something personal. It was of course the operator, but it did stop them dead in their tracks, wondering "how'd they do that".

Spend time on after show actions. Trade show operators give stats that 80% plus of trade show leads are never followed up on. Plan ahead so you are the exception to that rule!

Before you create the "gimmick", make sure that your offer/value of your product//services are top-notch. It's not to your benefit to get lots of booth traffic only to wind up with no leads or lack of interest in your offering.

Obviously to play any of these games they need to provide contact info for follow-up.

Have a huge jar of small toy heads. Closest guess to # wins.

Follow the fairground if you want to play a game. Things like a coconut shy, darts, ring-a-bottle etc give enjoyment to the participant and spectators. Computer games tend to be dull for all but the participant.

Remember the old game "Operation". Maybe you could create something like that and have speed contests. Something related to being a doctor.

How about a stethescope type thing that has different sounds and the dochave to guess what they are. You could put sounds of things docs would hear as well as an assortment of other sounds. Give a prize if they can identify them all or enter all that are correct in a bigger drawing.

You did not tell us what you are selling or promoting. The best ideas directly tie to your product/service. Are you able to give away service/product. If so make that your drawing. You will get the more serious about your product participating.
