Best Ways To Communicate To 10 International Offices

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Background
We have a large client in the security industry. They are rolling out a new logo soon and the overall strategy (plan) behind the decision needs to be communicated to their international headquarters so they can gain buy in and adoption. We have been asked to produce a communications toolkit. Sound easy however – some of these countries will not have access to the internet, email, cd players etc. so what I am looking for in a nutshell are communication ideas that will work in the various regions – for example roadshows, seminars, booklets?

The key is how can these communication tools be made exciting whilst conveying important messages?

Any help woould be appreciated.

Many thanks

Internet, email, cd-players are all stuff around since 1996 (barely over a decade). But people were doing this stuff for years before. Don't get mislead by the tech. Communication is done from one person to another person. Think of how you can socialise your message through the organisations, teach someone how to teach others. If one person teaches 10 others and so on, that's 1000 in 3 generations, 100000 in 6.

Focus on building an easy to explain story with a beginning, a middle and an end, than can be shared and related between people. Provide materials to help sell the story. And put controls to make sure the people are doing the sharing and the message is arriving as you intended. You might find a professional storyteller to work out the story (not a script) so it works for you.
