Interested In Carrying And Forwarding Agency

Hi All,

I am planning to open a C&F agency (carrying and Forwarding) agency in Nagpur. I have huge land in Nagpur for the same. I would like to know how I should approach? What should be the strategy? How the companies should be charged and what are the different terms and conditions that I should set or get it set.

If some one can give me some clue regarding this, that would be really helpful.

    Having never been in the C&F business and having never been in Nagpur, I don't think I can be of much help directly. What I can do is suggest that you talk with people who have been in the business and who do know the area.

    There are probably a series of must-haves and nice-to-haves that you can review to determine what your terms and conditions should be.

    Where I would begin to address the strategy question is by figuring out who your customers will be and talking to them about their needs, how they solve their problem today, what they'd like to have, how they make the purchase decision, etc. This is something you should do sooner or later anyway, and getting that kind of information sooner is probably a good idea for you.
