What Do I Do?

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
I have obtained access to wholesale warehouse, which receives goods confiscated at the Customs control, and as a result, simply looks to liquidate them at pitiful prices. The problem is, the quantities are substantial, and I am not sure how I would go about selling the products I can get here. What do I do?

Post the quantities on Ebay with a short listing time.

Off topic, but before you sell the confiscated goods to anyone, be sure they are fit for resale (eg: baby formula NOT laced with Melamine), otherwise you could end up on the wrong end of a lawsuit. They were confiscated for a reason right?

Otherwise, in light of these economic times iamllc eludes to, if the dollar store chains don't want them, eBay and Craigslist are good bets.

Finally, if you can't find a buyer and you're not getting a decent return for your effort, let it go. Access to a warehouse full of stuff sounds almost too good to be true, but only if it works. Sometimes the best business decision is to just walk away.

With the tough financial times and abundance in most areas of commercial rentals, why not open a store front and serve the community.
