Launching New Concept In Corporate/personal Gifts

Posted by Anonymous on 1000 Points
This is a great new challenge, and we need your input.

Here is the URL: www.SantaWillCallYOU.com.

We're helping to manage this account, w/limited budget (surprise!!!).

We think it's a really good concept.
From the corporate gift perspective, a unique gift for the client's family, instead of a bottle of wine or tickets to the game. We think this could be one of the strongest corporate gifts. This one will be remembered forever...

A LIVE call from "Santa", to the children or grandchildren of clients.

From personal perspective...parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts...get out the video cameras, we think this will be a great memory.

After you visit the site, please share with us, your ideas for this project.

Please note: All calls in US only (this year).
All calls on December 24th will be donated to charities focusing on helping children...such as "Justice for Children"... There are kids who will never have the chance to see or talk to "Santa". SantaWillCallYOU.com wants to change that, and will call children all over the US, through their charities, for absolutely no charge...from East Coast to West, as many as can be called, will be called.

Your ideas on the best NEW, CREATIVE ways to get the word out to "mass volumes" or carbon-based parental units in US, other than standard PR.(we are working on PR too).

Thanks to All

    I love it.

However: Are there any issues with having strangers talk to children? You would need to be careful how you screen the Santas – we have something called a “Working With Children Check” here – I imagine there must be something similar there.

You could develop product/service extensions for Valentines Day, Easter, Kwanzaa, Chanukkah and Halloween spin-offs too to make the service work the whole year-round.

Come up with a charitable component where kids from needy families get a free call, visit or gift from one of your Santas, and that will surely rate a mention on prime-time news and curent affairs shows nationwide.

Know anyone with a Harley? Of course you do - have the santa's ride into town to launch the service (OK, ride into all major cities, big logistics exercise) with gifts to drop off at the shelter or hospital. Bound to attract TV coverage. Just make the 1-800 number on Santa's sack big enough to read on TV

    Ho-ho-hope that helps...

    Cheers

Why not a staged video of the reaction you're trying to create, posted on YouTube, etc.?

An essay contest (or Twitter contest) to nominate a child/family that could use a Santa call for free?

Offer affiliate fees to churches, charities, etc. as a fund-raiser.

I would market to the thousands of individual sales people that rely on continuous contact throughout the year to keep them foremost in their clients minds.

Realtor's, Insurance agents, loan officer's, etc.
