Sales Incentive Trip Planning Documents Needed

Posted by Anonymous on 300 Points
Hi!

I manage my company's B2B event program, so I've never planned or had to manage a sales incentive trip. However, I have been tasked to do so for my company's 2010 President's Club. We will be going to Maui, and due to budget constraints, I will not be able to complete a site visit or work with a travel agent/incentive trip planner.

Does anyone have a planning template/document which outlines considerations for an incentive trip, or any recommendations for putting together a trip to Maui?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Alysha,

I'm certain you can find an agent in your area to handle this for you. AND based on the loads at most carriers, you should be able to get a site inspection ticket. Is it the hotels that are a problem?

    www.site.org has some good templates.

    https://www.mcmag.com/howto_ektid10944.aspx is a good place.

I can give you several incentive planners if you contact me. Just click on my name above.

I would think that any of the major hotels on Maui must have someone on the sales staff who would love to help you out. Why not call 4 or 5 of them, interview them by phone, and research them online ... not just their websites, but the comments of people who have held events there as well.

If that doesn't get you far enough, I know a recently-retired CEO who has a place in Maui and he might be willing to make a few site visits and recommend something for you. (He's on the West Coast of Maui, where most of the hotels and golf courses are located.)

Good luck. Contact me via the info in my profile if you want more.
