Consumer Connect

Posted by Anonymous on 75 Points
Hi all,

My client is the biggest national bank with the largest number of branches, ATM's and customers across the country.

So far the main communication channels of the bank are print, TV and outdoor (hoarding, bus shelter etc).

I would like to know what could be the new touch- points to connect apart from bank branch, ATM, DM, and other traditional touch-points with its existing customers (40 yrs and above) and also to attract the young audience (18-35 yrs)

Hope to get some great ideas.

Regards,

For a new audience, any college-based activities work... and they're solid future customers. Social media in that group, if done well, can work. Just don't lose focus of the point of social media...

Consider campaigns using communications technologies that can initiate outbound dialing and/or messaging to pda, cellphone, etc., .to provide account updates, alerts, event notifications, etc.

Bill and Tozzi thanks for your prompt responses.

    Bill,
I think college based activity is a nice idea, it'll not only communicate the products and services that bank offers, customers will get a chance to get hands on experience of the new innovative services (experiential mktg), and will also generate good leads.

    Tozzi,
my client is already providing such value added services but the customer has to subscribe such services. Did you mean provide these facilities for free?

Hope to get some more suggestions...

    Thanks!!
