Best Hosting Company In Terms Of Speed And Uptime

Hi all...I am a rookie in this field and have relatively zero knowledge in the area of web hosting. My client wants me to come up with a best hosting company in terms of speed of site loading, uptime and stability(as in number of years). Would appreciate if experienced folks out here help me with their valuable knowledge and experience. Thanks in advance.

    If you can afford $250/month and need the best service out there, Rackspace is my suggestion. We've been with them for about eight years now.

    If you're just starting something up, go cheap and use a shared server until you know you've got something worth investing more money in.

    The 'best" host will depend on what you need; whether it's your own server, a shared server, how much data you need to process, whether it's e-commerce, the amount of traffic, etc. etc.

    That said, if you don't need industrial strength, just plain hosting, I've had good luck with Hostgator (https://www.hostgator.com).
