How Do I Submit A Marketing Offer?

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I have been asked to submit a marketing offer from a major US company - I haven't any idea what they will want. I have a product that will promote their product and I need to know what they will want to know about it (other than having a few with me for demonstration). If I don't patent it will they just steal it from me? Sounds paranoid, but I am a babe in the woods here.

I strongly suggest an NDA and a "Project Briefing" worksheet to be completed BEFORE you move forward.

I have these forms already preparded and can customize them for your Business and sell you a license to use them if you like.

Please send me an email (just click on my name) for more details.

I hope this will help you!

    Larthur,

Jett’s advice for a NDA and a "Project Briefing" worksheet is right on. I learned a long time ago that nobody is their own best agent or representative. In matters like this I have a lawyer friend put his cover letter on any materials I would send to a company. A simple “I was asked by L Arthur to forward the attached materials to you” on a lawyer's letterhead is better than nothing.

    Good luck,

    - Steve
