Mouse Vs. Tablet For Graphic Design

For years, I've been using mouse and keyboard to design logos, websites, and advertising in Adobe products. I've never used a tablet, so I have no idea if I'm missing anything. Should I invest in a tablet? What are the advantages?

    Our graphic designer uses a tablet and is extremely happy with it.

    Apparently the main advantage is that you can move the tools with a lot more precision.

    I believe it takes some getting used to at first, but she would never use a mouse again!
