Ms Access Assistance

Posted by jamie on 250 Points
Could anyone suggest a good Microsoft Access Consultant? We have been using Access as a simple CRM type application to manage contacts and responses for a campaign we are doing. The way we have it se up works, but I am sure there is a much better way to set up the database. We will be starting a similar project soon in another area and would like to revise the setup before we begin.

I am not sure she can do this cause she is graduating in 3 weeks, but my daughter has done this for several clients. Its one of the ways she has put herself thru college. Email me offline and I can connect you.

I would like to suggest that you also consider a prepackaged salesforce automation package, such as ACT or Salesforce.com. I have used ACT for years, but many on this forum seem to like Salesforce.com.

If you continue with your own solution, you will not only have programming costs this year, but programming costs next year, and the following year, and eventually you will probably shift to a prepackaged solution anyway.

Most of these packages have the ability to import from databases such as Microsoft Access.

ACT has a free trial available on their website, but it is kind of hidden... they would prefer that you begin by buying the software. If you have trouble locating a free trial, send me an e-mail (click on my profile for my e-mail address) and I will help you find it.
