She is from South Africa and is 23 years old. Ever since her teenage years, she has been wishing for a more beautiful body. I guess one can say she really received a "bad deal"...
To cut a long story short...She started her own website at www.beautypledge.com where she hopes to raise the funds for 3 "beauty procedures".
She sought my advice on how to market this website, so she can raise the necessary funds, but I have no clue...Can you help?
She told me that there are websites such as [inactive link removed] and www.giveboobs.com which managed to raise the funds they needed, but Im not sure how they did this...
She will do almost anything to raise awareness and get more publicity, but she hesitates about revealing her true identity and sending emails to Oprah or other talk shows...but what else remains...She obviously cannot use her Facebook account or Twitter to "raise awareness" as everyone will then know who she is...and spam is no option, as the giveboobs.com did...She also doesn't want to create a "false identity", as that may just confuse a lot of people...
I would appreciate any advice, as I stumped...I know this topic might be somewhat controversial, but could you please have a look into it and give her some practical advice on what to do (and even what not to do)?
Thanks a lot :-0
