Wikipedia - Some Products Listed, Others Denied?

I have noted several of our competitors with product listings on Wikipedia. Does anyone have any experience adding content to the Wikipedia? Every time I make an attempt, I am reported. I obviously would like to keep my product 'clean' from this reputation but I noted much smaller companies listing their products with no problems. Why cant I?

Also, if anyone has tips on the formatting for entry and edits, that would be extremely helpful!
