How Do I Attract Customers To My Software?

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
We have a really good, one of a kind candidate job preparation software called EmployPrep. Since launching in January we have signed on some staffing companies. My issue is first, how do I attract staffing companies (our target) to look at our software? Secondly, in this tough market our software is a value add or "nice to have" but not something to run the business. Staffing companies love the software, but since its a nice to have they do not move on it? What can I do to make my "nice to have" or value added product gain more companies? How do I make it so its more attractive and changes perspectives?

I am running out of ideas....

Thanks,
Mosh

You will never sell your product if you consider it just "nice to have". What do your customers get out of using your product? Will it save them time? Money? Stress? These things are not just nice - they are necessary in order to survive. Not all companies will make it through this recession. Now is the time to invest in solutions that will help save or cut back on various precious resources. You need to show prospects how your product is one of these solutions.

Ask your current customers how your software has improved their business and get personal testimonials from them. Video is best if they are willing. Use these during your pitch to a new prospect to show them credible proof of how you can help them.

Once you have their interest, free trials are a great way to close the deal with software. If your product is good, then letting them see the benefits for themselves with no risk should be just the hook you need to reel in your fish.

You could also consider holding webinars to walk interested parties through the software. You get to show them all the bells and whistles as well as prove how easy it is to use.

    Hope this helps!
