Rfp Response Software Suggestions?

Posted by doggie1979 on 500 Points
Hi, we are using Sant right now but finding it too difficult for our users and we have tried for two years with limited adoption. Also it is very expensive if we aren't using it to its fullest. We are looking for a new response software for RFPs. Major things we are looking for are:

1. Content database with editing, expiration
2. Workflow/assignments
3. Production/generation of an actual RFP response document in Word that can be exported

I am looking at RFPMonkey but it doesn't appear to have a document generation and export feature.

Any suggestions for other solutions I can investigate?

I'm sorry, I do not have experience with these products. An old friend of mine has produced such a product, focusing primarily on responding to government bids, but I have never worked with it and so I can't recommend it.

If this were my project, I would do a Google search on:

    +sant +rfpmonkey

The first hit from such a search gives you:

    Good luck to you.

    Dear Sarah

You can probably do this in SymVolli, depending on the spec you have – basically the processes you want to run for RFP in software.

Please have a look at www.symvolli.com and have a look at the quotations section. I believe that it is possible that a recent job for a client was based on the sort of RFP automation to which you refer. If you wish to clarify this by a phone call, ask for George Petri - he should be able to give you an answer once you have defined your needs.

    Their phone number is: T: +44 (0)1276 683449

    Best wishes

    Agree with Steve,

We actually use Symvolli and it works well for our uses.

    Give it a try.

    Sarah,

If you would like to contact me we can discuss how SymVolli might be of help to you. SymVolli has the ability to store different responses in templates that can be used again and again to build up a proposal. We have the ability to export the proposal to pdf, Excel and Word.

    Regards

I have a similar question to the origional posting. I am looking for an RFP Response system and I've been able to come up with this list so far:

    1. Quividian Suite (of which Sant appears to be a reseller)

    2. Proposal Software (Web PMAPS)

    3. RFP Monkey - only limited to content library

    4. Octant - which I just came across today

    5. Xinnovation - just came across today, not sure if they are resellers.

I need to be able to have a content library where we can search for answers, project manage the question assignments and collaboration and put together an actual draft of the response.

Someone mentioned Symvolli and after reviewing their website I'm not sure how they even help in this process.

Has anyone had any experience with the above? Is there a vendor I'm missing? Really need some help identifying the right players!
