I Think My Partner Gave False Card Statements How?

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
Hello
I have been attempting for weeks to get my partner to provide credit card statements to support how he spent almost 300,000 of our company money on a dozen cards in over 1 year.

Finally what I received was p.. 3 of 10 2 of 6 etc. (All copies) no originals and none in complete format.

Statements for two of the "card companies" do not even have a name anywhere on the statement and they are supposedly page 1 of 3 or 1 of 5.

My fiance' said it looks like he "photo shopped" these docs. I have been searching the web all night to see if such a thing is possible.

I don't want to raise an alarming red flag if it is not.

Has anyone heard of anyone photo shopping card statements?

Please let me know. This is really stressing me. I will have to get a forensic accountant if there is a possibility this type of thing was done to deceive me.

Thank You!
Elizabeth

I'm not sure what this has to do with marketing, but welcome to the forum.

    This is pretty simple.

If you have some personal liability for the cards, then you are entitled to the statements.

If the cards are in a company name, and the business is liable for the debt, and you are a significant shareholder or executive with that company, then you should not have any trouble getting copies of all statements from the issuing companies.

Yes, you can alter documents and images thereof.

At the risk of insulting you, your question does not sound completely authentic.

If it is YOUR company and cards in the company name, you can get the statements directly.

I'm not sure why this question is posted on a site that is focused on marketing, but if the question is "Can a credit card statement be altered using Photoshop?" the answer is "Yes, absolutely."

It sounds, though, like your problem is a lot deeper than what Photoshop can or cannot do. And this is probably not the right place to turn for help.

Just curious: How come your screen name is "Eileen" and you signed your message with "Elizabeth?" Are you using someone else's account? Are you in disguise?
