Marketing Networking Group

Are there any marketing networking groups I can join in CT? A once a month discussion group could be valuable for all the members. If not, are there any members that are marketing professionals with experience that would like to form a marketing discussion group in CT?

If you enter your zip code along with a marketing topic in the following link, you should get some options.

    Hi Bill,

I know one in Westchester, and tried to look at your site to see if that would be convenient for you. None of the buttons (contact, articles, or otherwise) seem to work. Are they behind a wall for customers only? I can understand hiding some content, but all of it?

    Just my two cents.

    Jodi,
What site were you looking at? Our corporate site would not have those kinds of restrictions. Westchester may work, do you have the details?
    thanks!!!

    Dear Bill,

I think I can help you. In fact, I KNOW I can help you. A bold and brash statement?

    Perhaps.

How the heck can someone who lives in Delaware (that would be me), help someone in Connecticut (in this case, you)?

All you need to do is suspend your beliefs and expectations as to what a marketing group "should" be (and oh, how I loathe the word "should").

Then, all you need to do is to make a tiny commitment of time.

If things don't work out, then all you'll have done is spend an hour or two in which you can decide whether this is for you or not.

    How does that sound?

If you'd like to meet fellow entrepreneurs in a relaxed, informative atmosphere, this is for you.

If your business would benefit and if you'd like to network and learn with a group of like-minded, result driven business and entrepreneurial professionals, from all kinds of business backgrounds every month, this is also for you.

And if you'd like to have more customers, generate more money from your current list of customers, and have your current customers SPEND more money with you, AND, have them refer you to their friends and colleagues, this is also for you.

The group is called Glazer Kennedy Insider Circle, it meets every
second Tuesday night of each month. Networking Starts at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting itself runs from 7:00 - 9:00

You must be pre-registered to attend. The group meets at
THE GREATER VALLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
900 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton (2nd Floor) Wachovia Bank.

Although the website that follows isn't that pretty, you can find out more here:

    https://www.gkicct.com/

You can also see more here: https://www.gkicct.com/meeting

The local Chapter Director is Bill Sadick. You can read more about Bill here:

    https://niceselling.com/

Glazer Kennedy advocates DIRECT RESPONSE marketing, where prospects and customers alike willingly put up their hands and express an interest in your message, goods, services, and products because the things you offer (and because the message you deliver) SOLVES THE PROSPECT'S PROBLEM.

I've been a member of the Philadelphia Chapter since October, 2009 and three things have happened:

    1. I've learned a great deal.
    2. I've met some great people.
    3. My confidence in my knowledge and abilities has skyrocketed.

On the CT chapter page (https://www.gkicct.com/) there's this:

'Would You Like More Customers Coming Through Your Doors, Predictably And In Greater Numbers Than EVER Before... Creating A "Competition Free Zone" For You In Connecticut?'

If that sounds like the kind of thing you'd be interested in learning more about, GKIC will be a good fit.

    I hope this helps.
