Looking For Suggested Mascot For Christian Academy

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
We are looking to start using a mascot for our Christian Academy & Preschool. Suggestions have been made of an eagle or lion, but I'm thinking there are some more original ideas floating around.

Currently, we are only Pre-K and Kindergarten, but will be expanding to included 1st - 5th grades with in the next 3 years.

Therefore, whatever it is, should convey the feelings of strength, faith, excellence, pride, etc.

Any suggestions?

    Dear Holly,

Strength, faith, excellence, and pride could be exhibited and personified by:

    Hands held in prayer
    A rising sun
A square rigged ship under full sail
    A shepherd's crook
A lamb and a wolf entwined
    A phoenix
    An elephant
    A dog
    A dolphin
    Pegasus
    A unicorn

I hope these help. Good luck to you.

    Lion of Judah
    Prince of Peace
    Rose of Sharon
    Lamb that was slain

    Crown
    Slingshot
    Shofar
    An open Bible
    Oh yeah...a cross

Could be the Knights. Mascot/emblem would be something like a medieval knight on the back of a horse holding a flag or standard with a cross on it. Along those lines, could be the Crusaders or Chevaliers, also.

The obvious one is the Ark
    Camel
    Deer / Fawn
    Owl

    To All,

Thanks so much, we've decided to go with Michael's suggestion of The Lion of Judah!
