Fundraising Ideas

Hi, we have an action netball team and we like to try and raise funds to pay for the fees. For the last season we had a raffle and the prize was a case of wine. This year we would like to do something different. Has anyone got any ideas.

    Hey, there,

    Netball, huh? If you're in the SF Bay Area, I want to play! Anyways, here are some ideas:

    * Guest bartender night at a local bar
    * Any kind of entertaining bar event, like trivia, darts, or jello wrestling (seriously, a friend did that for his race fundraising)
    * Involve a local charity in your fundraising so some portion goes to the charity
    * Raffle is always good, just maybe expand to a variety of different items (yes, it does take a lot of work to get those)
    * May be kooky (or dangerous!) but raffle to win a spot on the team for one game?
    * Traditional bake sale (who doesn't love baked goods?)
    * Ask a local sporting goods store/gym/bar/any business if they want to sponsor you in exchange for the name on jerseys/game flyers

    Fundraising is a lot of work but will be worth it. Good luck, play hard!
