The best strategies are the ones that work for you in your region, targeting your clients, solving their problems, and with a better price/value offering than your competition. It starts with a clear understanding of your target market, a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats), and a business plan (ensuring you have the funds to achieve you goals).

What kind of Saas offering do you have please?

There are so many services being offered these days.

My first advise would be, 'learn from the best'.

Just take a look at how some of the best players do it.

    Salesforce.com
    Micorsoft CRM Dynamics
    Centraldesktop.com
    Neolane.com
    Listrak
    and and and...

    Study their web sites,
Sign up for the free trials,
Sign up for their news letter,
Pose as a prospect and contact their sales team.
    Study their advertising strategy.

Take a full week to immerse yourself in their strategies. See what kind of response you get from their sales teams.
What kind of email follow up do they do?
    Free Webinars,
    White Papers
    Live Demo's

Where do they advertise? Face Book? Google? Linkedin?

It is all at your fingertips online to learn the best practice in one week.

Then choose the best parts that fit your model and implement.

    Good luck.

    Hi Sunil,

Further to your reply, I would just say, be careful with Trade shows.

THey can be great for networking but they can also be expensive :) It all depends on your budget and the level of participation you want to do with the trade show.

Make sure you have specific goals that you want to aqchieve for the tarde show before you spend a lot of money on travel, hotels, renting booths etc. :)) Good luck,

    Matthew
