Know-How Exchange : Strategy

Hello Everyone, I googled my search question and found this awesome site. I just joined and this is my first question. I am a Marketer first doing business as a CFP. I am looking to seminar marketing my services. The traditional way is very saturated and ineffective. I am looking at other ways to reach the targeted audience. I am currently doing breakfasts for centers of influence which have been working, I would like to do a lunch workshop at doctors offices, like the pharms. What would be the best approach for this method. DM, Phone, Both, other? Also, I am looking to speak at public service groups such as Rotary. I am trying to get a book together (about half way through first draft) before I go for credibility. Is this a necessary step or maybe dive in right now? Thanks so much for your help.
