The people that are concerned about the environment and global warming already celebrate Earth Day 2010. Instead, focus on what you're selling: bags. Why are your bags better than your competition?

    Dear reetasethi,

The environmental connection might be better made year long by making use of the message that cotton is a renewable and natural resource.

Jay's right—for many organizations and non profits, Earth Day might have more connections to global warming than you might be giving it credit for.

I'd suggest offering your product to and directing your message
at natural history museum gift store buyers; nature centres; alternative energy organizations and companies; eco-friendly builders; forest management organizations; printers offering FSC grade paper, printing, and inks; municipal parks departments, and eco-friendly gardening supply companies and suppliers.

I hope this helps. Good luck to you.

I would avoid anything that talks about global warming/climate change because you alienate 1/2 the population. It's a divisive issue.

Ecology...that's different. We all want to reduce waste and polution.

Try targeting college/university student groups. They are naturally active.
