How To Promote My Marketing Site On Social Media?

Posted by tyler on 25 Points
I have a freelance business that I create marketing, PR, and advertising material for clients. I have the following facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/edit/?id=332678716827#!/pages/New-Bethlehem-...

I'm looking for a direction that I can take my posts to appeal to an active audience. Also looking for a way to increase the visibility of my site so I can draw in clients. It's hard because this is B2B marketing. Thanks!

Tyler, keep at it. This, like other forms of marketing, takes a while. Use your Discussions Tab, then ask thought-provoking questions, or ones where people can show their expertise, then post links to these discussions on a regular basis, both on your Fan Page, your Profile Wall, then Tweet about them, mention it on LinkedIn, your blog, enewsletter, your auto-signature, etc.

Cross-promoting social activity on all other Social Mediums is key to building traffic in any other medium, as well as being patient, conversational, educational and likable.

Am I heading in the right direction by trying to appeal to non-industry people? And what else do you think I can do to head further down the road in this direction? My main goal is not to preach to the choir, I want to peak the interest of business owners and managers so that they read my info and hopefully use mine or a similar service to market and promote their business, both online and traditionally.
