Need Advice On Selling To Chain Stores

I am an Importer of a neat product, Crystal Soil. My website is www.crystalsoilusa.com. I have my own branded packaging along with UPC bar codes. I want to get my product to the chain stores like, CVS, Rite Aid, Target, Walgreen's, Home Depot, and Lowe's. I am a start up with a limited budget. What is the best method for me to break into the selling to these kind of chain stores? I have tried to find the right sales rep, but that has been like finding a needle in the haystack. Please help. I have tried calling the stores directly to on avail.

    You can go to any of those corp websites to contact the right person. They are always looking for ne products.

    How many competitors do you have selling the same item in USA? Are you the exclusive importer of the product for USA? How many does someone need to buy?
