Repair Service To Dentists

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
I repair dental handpieces (air driven drills) and want to create a mail campaign to the dentists.

I want to send them a box (7" x 5" x 2"), with a per-paid UPS label, that they can use to send their handpieces to me.

I want them to keep the box for the next time they need a repair (which could be 6 months in the future).

What kind of marketing materials do you suggest I put in the box to get them to say, "Great! I'll put this where I can find it when I need it." Some of the things I'm considering are my business card, a letter to the dentist, a price list, and an offer to fix the first handpiece for free.

Thank you very much for your fast response and for the good advice from both of you. I'd like to keep this question open for a while to see if any more good ideas come in.

You need a call to action. "save this box", it can save you time and money.

Because if they don't need it at that moment, they'll probably toss it. Or store it and forget where they put it. So hopefully your return postage won't be charged to you unless they actually use it.

Then I'd follow up with a postcard once a month, reminding them of your service. That'll keep the box on top of their mind. And some way for them to order another box if they misplace it.

Thanks again for all your good advice. This is an awsome forum!

One question, though. I can't seem to find a way to get back to this discussion by going to the site and then searching. The only way I seem to be able to get back to this discussion is to click on the link in one of my emails.
