Cannot Log-on To My Facebook Account. Please Help!

I have not been able to log-on to my facebook account for the past three days. I'm concerned that someone may have changed my email and hacked my account. I've sent the forms to the facebook help page (they don't have a telephone no. to call) and have not had any type of email response. I read posts online that say it can take months to hear from the facebook help center.

Has anyone had this happen? Any ideas on what I can do? Besides my personal account, I administer the site for the assisted living community I work for, so I need to get back on ASAP. Please help!

    Dear Konners,

    Call Facebook on 650-543-4800. However, your best bet is to
    contact them via e-mail because on the phone there's no way you can prove who you are. Another option is to go to this page: https://www.facebook.com/security and see if anyone there can
    help you.

    It really should not take weeks for them to get back to you via
    e-mail, and with this in mind, here's another page that offers help with Facebook log-in issues: https://www.facebook.com/help/?page=746

    Stupid question, but have you clicked "forgot my password"? If you don't ge a response then someone could have changed the password. Since it's not "your" facebook page, ask your boss. It might have been changed internally.

    Log onto your own account and add the facility as a friend. See what is being sent.

    Thank you, Gary. I'm going to call the tel. no. you provided! There aren't any numbers on the facebook site. The log-in issue issue problem repeats every way my husband and I have tried...we can't get anywhere with it. I will sing your praises if I get help on the phone!!

    Michael, thanks for your response, as well. It's my personal account that I haven't been able to log into - and I'm anonymously listed as one of the 2 administrators. My boss didn't change anything....but I can see why you asked! Nothing, fortunately, is coming from my account, so that's promising.

    I will let you both know what happens! Thanks again.

    Update: The telephone number was strictly recorded (no way to talk to a live person). There was an option to leave a message for facebook support help, but the voice mail said they do not provide telephone support - to visit the site. I've sent numerous messages for days now and haven't heard anything from the help desk. It's so frustrating!!!

    This happened to me a few months ago and after much hand wringing and high anxiety, one morning I logged on and it worked.

    The social media equivalent of "re-boot", but I hope it offers a shred of hope. Keep the faith!

    Thanks everyone. I didn't violate any rules and have tried everything, including emails to facebook. Simply cannot access my account! Thank you for your assistance. You can split the points!

    PS: Vicki, you did give me hope!
