Looking For Help With A Golf Tournament

I'm on a fire department and we are holding our third golf tournament this year. I'm in charge of it this year and want to make it the biggest yet. I'm looking for ideas and fun stuff to do. I'm also looking for suggestions for sites or companies for hole sponsor flags and more. Any ides welcomed, thank you!

    I'm involved in one right now. Doesn't help that I hate golf.

    Current sponsors are...to help you get ideas

    1) Caterer
    2) Grocer
    3) Bank
    4) Chiro
    5) Auto dealership
    6) Design studion (helps with printing cost)
    7) Restaurant

    I forget the rest. I'd say focus on the companies looking for name recognition.

    For our golf tournament we always have a hole sponsored by a local car dealer with a car for a hole in one (you get insurance on that), we also do a silent auction which is always a good extra income generator. We also have always given a goodie bag of items from local businesses, but also include one nice item from our agency with our personalization on it like a polo, golf towel, we've done windbreakers, just remember their golfers so any little gadget for that or something they can wear on the course is great.

    You could try including massage centers in the par 3 holes..that's a difficult hole so players may take longer time and have time for a massage. You could set up a big umbrella with your sponsor's logo (there you can get sponsorship spot).
    Also if your company allows, you can add a model to serve drinks and some holes, wearing your sponsor's logo or cap.

    just make it a big party, golf carts with cigars and shots, maybe specialty golf carts for big sponsors. As sexist as it is the more girls you have the more money you WILL make. Even theme the tourney if you want, then you can come up with specific activities that relate to the theme. For example if you make it Hawaiian theme, you can have tiki huts set up everywhere, girls in hula skirts, specialty drinks like Mai Tai's. The car for a hole in one is a really good one, you also can have prizes for longest drive. there really is endless ideas to make this the biggest tourney yet. Since it is for fire fighters somehow include that aspect in there. Hope this helps.

    I know it's not your first year so some of the information may be things you already know, but hopefully it will give you some ideas.

    My company is a distributor of logoed products, so if you need help/suggestions for any of the promotional giveaway items or need to purchase hole sponsor flags, feel free to contact me through my profile. A unique idea you could also do in place of the flags is to put the sponsors logos on golf umbrellas and use them as flags at each hole. Then after the tournament is over you can use them as prizes.
