I AM A NEW DME SALES PERSON, WILL BE SELLING, HOME HEALTH CARE ITEMS, SUCH AS WHEELCHAIR/WALKER/CANES AND CLUTCHES, DIABETIC GLUCOSE METERS AND SUPPLIES, BATHROOM SAFETY, DIABETIC SHOES ETC. NEED SOME ASSISTANCE ABOUT HOW AND WHERE TO MARKET THEM, WILL APPRECIATE YOU HELP

    What about hospitals or pharmacies? And if you are thinking of opening a store, try somewhere close to a hospital.

    With regards to how, you can probably target the industry spokespersons, e.g. doctors, pharmacists, nurses.

    Your question is rather vague, so it is hard for us to answer. I think you need to provide more details. For example, we don't even know what country you are in.

    But it is likely you already have a feel for how these products go to market where you are - be best to tell us that. And then provide a more focused question to which we can provide useful answers for you.

    Most DMEs require a script from a medical doctor. Particularly when you come to some of the higher end/cost DME's such as ultralight and electric wheelchairs. Are you associated with a larger organization or is this something you just decided to take up on your own?

    If you are unassociated with an organization my best advice to you would be to deal individually with small companies/medical supply stores that sell DME equipment locally to their communities and build your base from there as the wholesaler instead of the the retailer.

    But that is just a suggestion since you haven't actually given us enough information to assist us in marketing you effectively.
