Need Help With Event Planning Specifics

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
My nonprofit organization is holding a luncheon to honor some of its members and corporate partners. We want to have nice programs with a menu card inside on the tables when guest arrive. We want to print these in house to save money. I've never planned an event like this, so I am looking for guidance on what type of paper stock to use for the programs and menu cards. Not sure if I should use something like a heavy (60 lb) card stock, or glossy paper or just use the greeting card paper you can find at Office Depot because it's half-fold paper which is what we want the programs to look like. Any help, guidance or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Use the heaviest stock paper you can put through your laser printer - it'll feel the most impressive to the hand. Alternatively, use specialty paper (for example, https://www.neenahpaper.com/letterhead/ ) or go to your local art supply store and ask them for some interesting paper to print onto.
