How To Market To Teachers On Teacher Tube

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
The company I work for creates and sales health education products. My market is teachers, nurses, schools etc. We recently just started using Facebook to reach our customers as well as YouTube to post videos, however, teachers do not have access to Facebook and YouTube. Instead, they use Teacher Tube. I noticed, all resources on Teacher Tube is "free". I obviously want to increase revenue but my main focus is to tap more into that market. My question is, how can I effectively use Teacher Tube to get our products out there and our company name out there? We can post videos of how to use our products (like we do on YouTube) but there seems to be more resources on Teacher Tube that I am not sure how to use? Suggestions?

No I have not talked to the Advertising team yet. I am really interested in how to use TeacherTube as a marketing tool. I will contact them today.
It is good to know that teachers are using YouTube and Facebook at home, because most teachers I talk to say that can not become our Fan because their School Districts will not allow them. We created a product and did a photo shoot at a school with the children using it and we wanted to post the video we created on YouTube, but the school would not allow us to do that either. A teacher there then said that we needed to check out TeacherTube and that is what all of them use.

Play some tweak.. As you said teacher tube is one of the material there. But you can link together with facebook / twitter user all around the work into one marketing site... From there you can start gather your information, question and answer, gathering, etc...

You need to make sure the teacher around are in facebook or not well. Do some short survey and spread some news saying that there will be a new teacher gathering site in facebook and get them to join..

Start to build up a group first before you really go into marketing and sales..

    Hope this help
