Hotel And Resort Marketing

I have a friend who has hospitality , hotel and resort business.

And currenly he needs more inexpensive marketing ideas on how to promote and make the place known to reach more wider exposure.

Any idea is welcome

    Inexpensive is to get travel planners and appropriate media in to the hotel to check it out, on the hopes that the travel planners get some customers to go there and the media writes about the resort. Usually you can arrange this in off season or for low-occupancy dates, so the only costs are the costs of cleaning, any free meals you give, etc.

    Cheapest way is facebook etc. The more effective way is to work with someone who already has relationships with the MPI set.

    What is the market? Motorcoach? High-end?
