Just started an online based coaching and consulting firm. Are there any high level blueprints or tips for success anyone can share?

Who is your target audience? What benefit do you promise them? What qualifies you to coach/consult? How will people learn about your services?

As you know, this is a very crowded/competitive space. You need to really generate awareness quickly, not only of your business name and website, but of the unique positioning benefit you deliver. Your awareness-generating program is key.

there are a couple of coaching groups on linkedin.com, you might be able to get some help there.

Get narrow. Focus on a specific type of coaching for a specific type of person. Develop your portfolio of successful clients and generate testimonials/case studies. Be willing to listen to what people need / wiling to pay for before trying to sell them your services.
