How To Get A New Salon Off The Ground

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points

What can you tell us about the location? Are you in a mall, strip shops? What kind of area - well-to-do or rundown? What is parking like?

What is passing traffic like - vehicular and pedestrian?

How is the place signed and decorated? Does it look inviting, or hostile?

Assuming you and your co-worker had clients before opening up this new salon, what have you done to communicate with your client list?

Well you're doing the right things. The question then becomes how the marketing is written. Clearly bad marketing is better than no marketing but it also costs more.

Also, how long has it been? Unless you're Chick-Fil-A people aren't standing in line the first day waiting for you to open.
